What we collect, why, where it lives, and how to get it removed. Last updated 4 September 2026. Privacy-friendly analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no cookies beyond keeping you signed in.

The short version

We keep what we need to coach you and invoice you, nothing else. Your clips are stored privately unless you post them publicly. We email you about your own bookings and replies. Ask, and we delete the lot.

1. What we collect

Account. Your email address and name, through our sign-in provider, Clerk. Signing in with a social account shares only what that provider gives us: name and email.

Profile. What you tell us on the welcome form so a coach can prepare: country, phone number, playing level, hand, preferred side, how long you have played, your club, and your goal. All of it is optional except a name.

Coaching. The clips and questions you send, your coach’s replies, your private messages with your coach, which lessons you have marked complete, and your reviews.

Bookings and payment. The calls you request, the invoices we issue, the currency and amount, and whether they are paid. If you upload a receipt, we keep the image. We never see or store a card number — payment is by bank transfer, so your bank holds those details, not us.

Waitlist. If you leave an email to hear about a launch, we keep that address and which page you left it on.

Technical. Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs. We use your browser’s time zone and language, on your device only, to pick a default currency.

Analytics. We count page views, which pages are opened, roughly where in the world visitors are, and which of a handful of buttons get pressed — so we can tell whether anything we post is reaching anyone. It is Vercel Web Analytics: no cookies, no identifiers that follow you between sites, and nothing that names you.

Which platform sent you. We work this out three ways: a tag on the link if the one we shared carried one, otherwise the app’s own browser identifying itself (TikTok’s and Instagram’s both do, in the user agent every browser sends), and otherwise the referring site. It resolves to a single word — “tiktok”, “instagram”, “direct” — kept for that visit only, never tied to you, and never used to follow you anywhere else.

2. Why

To run the service you asked for: confirming a call, reviewing a clip, invoicing you, answering a message. To keep the place working: rate limits that stop the forms being abused, and logs that tell us when something breaks. To tell you about your own account — a confirmation, a reply, a receipt. We do not profile you, sell data, or show you advertising.

3. Email

We send transactional email only: booking requests and confirmations, replies to your clips and messages, invoices, and a request for a review after a call. Someone on the waitlist gets one email when the thing launches. The emails carry no tracking. We do not send a newsletter, and we will ask before we ever start one.

4. Where it lives

Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Our database is hosted by Neon. The site runs on Vercel, and your clips and receipts are stored in Vercel’s file storage. Email is sent through Resend. Each of these processes data on our instructions under its own terms; none of them may use it for anything else.

Uploaded files. Clips and receipts are stored at long, unguessable addresses rather than behind a login. That is what lets a video play without buffering through our servers. Nobody can find such a file without the address; anyone you give the address to can open it. A clip you post publicly in the community is, by your choice, visible to other members.

5. Cookies

Only the cookies that keep you signed in, set by Clerk. Our analytics sets none, and nothing here is for advertising. Your currency choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.

6. Who sees what

Coaches see your profile, your clips, your questions and your messages — that is the job. Other members see your name and what you have chosen to post publicly, and nothing else. The owner sees invoices. We share data with nobody beyond the providers above, and with authorities only if the law requires it.

7. How long

For as long as you have an account, so your coach has your history. Invoices are kept for the period our accounting requires. Waitlist addresses are deleted once the launch email has gone. Rate-limit records are deleted daily.

8. Your rights

You can see everything we hold on you, correct it, or have it deleted, by writing to hello@jagopadel.com from the address on your account. Deletion removes your profile, clips, posts, messages and bookings; we may keep an invoice where the law requires it. You can also stop membership at any time from the site.

9. Children

The site is for people aged 16 and over. Under-18s should have a parent or guardian hold the account. If we learn we hold data on a child without that, we delete it.

10. Changes

When this changes, the date at the top moves. Anything that changes what we do with data you have already given us, we will email you about.
