Court
Call.

Thirty minutes, your game, on the record.

A video call with Omar built around two clips of you playing. He watches them before you speak, so the whole half hour goes on what to change and how to practise it.

How a Court Call runs
The half hour

Where the thirty minutes goes.

It is planned to the minute because thirty minutes disappears fast. Nothing is spent on introductions.

Before

You send two clips

One rally you were happy with, one that fell apart. Omar watches both before the call so none of the thirty minutes goes on setup.

0–8 min

What is actually costing you points

Not the shot you think. Omar names the one habit underneath the errors and shows you where it starts.

8–22 min

The correction, demonstrated

Live on camera, slowed down, from the angles that matter. You try it back and he adjusts it there and then.

22–30 min

A four-week plan

Which drills, how often, and the course chapter that backs it up. Written up and in your inbox the same day.

Omar coaches from Jakarta, so the calendar runs on WIB (GMT+7). He keeps it himself — closed slots are genuinely closed.

Booking sends a request

Choosing a time holds the slot and notifies Omar. It is not confirmed until he accepts — usually within a day. You are not charged, and the call is not in your diary, before that.

Who you are calling

Omar Salem

Omar has spent a decade on the professional circuit and the last four years coaching. He teaches padel as a game of position and patience — not power.

He takes a limited number of calls a week so that each one gets watched properly beforehand. That is why the calendar looks thin — it is meant to.

Questions

Before you book.

Requests, not bookings

Choosing a time holds the slot and asks Omar to confirm. It is not a confirmed booking, and you are not charged, until he accepts.

Course launching later this year. See what is coming.

Nothing is taken when you request a time. Once Omar confirms it he emails payment details, and the call is settled before it starts. Card payment on the site is coming shortly.

No. Choosing a time sends a request to Omar and holds the slot for you. He confirms or proposes another time, usually within a day, and you get an email either way.

Send whatever you have — a phone propped on a bag is fine. If you have nothing, say so when you book and Omar will use the first ten minutes to work from what you describe instead.

Reschedule from your dashboard up to 12 hours before. Inside 12 hours the call counts as used, unless something has genuinely gone wrong — write to us.

Strokes & Backglass is written, scripted and timed — eight sessions, forty-two minutes. What is left is the filming. Until it lands, a Court Call covers the same material one to one, and you get to ask the questions a video will never answer.

Yes, one per course when they launch — one per purchase, not an open tab. It will not expire, so a call you buy now and a call that arrives with a course both sit in your account until you use them.
